In 2018, InStat was engaged by The Bayelsa State Ministry of Health to train its facility-based health workers using the VTR Mobile Training Application. 700 health workers were selected from 106 facilities in eight LGAs to participate in the training program. The participants selected for the program were mostly Clinical Health Extension Workers (CHEWS) with two Doctors and two nurses participating. The duration of the program was approximately 12 months, starting in October 2017 and ending in December 2018. 220 of the selected 703 health workers selected for the training completed the training program.
